[Edit] Should Islamist political parties be banned? |
|
[Edit] Background and contextMany countries have a ban on religious parties of all kinds. In the Middle East, and elsewhere, religious political parties are sometimes legal. While some have moved to ban these religious political parties, others have tolerated them. In a modern secular nation, are religious political parties acceptable? In modernizing Muslim countries, should religious political parties be tolerated, or rejected?
