[Edit] Background and Context of Debate:The Taliban is a Sunni Islamist terrorist movement that operates in Afghanistan, and is rebelling against NATO troops and the Afghani government. The word "Taliban" means Students and they first took power during the civil strife in Afghanistan and they defeat the Mujahideen warlords who were vying for control. Their leader is called Mullah Mohammed Omar. |
