Sarah Palin is not qualified to be the, in essence, "President" of the United States. She may be running for the office of Vice President but there is no way that her power won't be more influential than that of John McCain. Since Palin was announced as ohn McCain's running mate i have been doing a lot of research and deductive reasoning about whether or not she was fit for the job. Sarah Palin's job before she ran for any office, was a stay-at-home mom. I admire this but at the same time, if your one and only job is to say home and teach your kids the right values, and your 17 (illegal age for pregnant teens) year old daughter is pregnant, then maybe it's not completely their fault. If your job is to raise your family and run your house and you fail like she did, I DON'T want you running my country. If she can't run her family's house, I don't want her in the positin where she will effect great change, either for god or bad. Aside from that, [1] Sarah Palin is part of a group that wants Alaska to secede from the Union. The last time that happened, it cause a civil war that killed more people in one day thn the entire Vietnam war combined. The thought of innocent, good value loving Sarah Palin was appealing at fist, until they tried to Vet her and she refused questions, because they were "Too personal..." or "Femenist..." Her own husband won't testify to the fact that she fired her brother-in-law. He can use any excuse he wants, but if you don't testify for your own family, then there is disfunction. By picking Palin for VP, McCain comes out of this looking very stupid. If he knew ahead of time her daughter was pregnant, (like he claimed to have known) and yet, he still picked her, then he looks like even more of an idiot than he did prior to the VP selection. Palin is no more qualified than Obama, for she was only the 2nd most important person... in Alaska. A state that has no income or sals taxes due to high revenue from the oil industry. An industry that is soaring in price, and causing Alaskans to live a nice, easy, tax free life.
