- "Although marijuana usage and distribution is illegal around the world it is precisely this fact that keeps it used and in rotation today.Studies have shown that the value of any substance increases once it has been declared illegal. Moreover, the longer a substance has been illegal and the harder it is to obtain the substance the more profitable it becomes. Therefore, marijuana (because it fits into this category) can be a very profitable in its import and export for a country even if it is outlawed as illega."
- The drug trade or trafficking of marijuana that one is able to see how the dependence on marijuana has led Jamaicans to be corrupt in their ways. The drug trade or trafficking has lured many Jamaicans into a cutthroat business that deals with quick money and much violence." [1]
