Both have worldwide restaurant chains and have trademark foods like the 'Big Mac' and 'Popcorn Chicken'. Being the two biggest restaurant chains in the world, there is much rivalry going on between the two restaurants - which one is better? Both started in America and have their famous people involved with the company (Ronald McDonald, Hamburglar and Colonel Saunders) and there really is stiff competition. McDonald's now has nutritious items on the menu. In 2004, McDonald's had a huge overhaul of its food and now serves a lot of healthy options. Some of these things on the menu include salads, deli-choices burgers and fruit smoothies. It has many nutritous things and the number is getting higher and higher as McDonald's introduce foods like 'fruit bags' and 'Lean Beef Burgers'. With the food that isn't as healthy, Maccas have been improving them too.
