Open Office is a free, open-source, downloadable productivity suite. This includes word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, databases, and graphics. It is the main open-source alternative to Microsoft Office. Open Office can be downloaded here. As an open-source program, Open Office allows users to download extensions, which provides a variety of different options.
